WHAT IS MEDITATION?
Vedic Meditation is a simple, effortless and profoundly effective technique to calm the mind, deeply reduce stress, increase creativity and elevate consciousness.
Our modern world is bereft of practical methods to calm our mind so we borrow this practice from an ancient tradition that deeply understood the inner workings of the mind and body, and found ways to elevate human awareness.
We are all great workers, artists, parents, planners and schedulers but we are not masters of truly effective ways to relax our mind and body, and connect to our inner source of wisdom.
Anxiety and depression are patterns in our mind that have their roots in stress, which has accrued in the nervous system. Regular practice of this simple mental technique has been scientifically proven to reduce and remove these conditions.
Adapting this profound technique will bring positive, cumulative results quickly that will impact all aspects of your life. There is no strain or concentration like other meditation techniques, it’s simple and automatic and returns us back into life calm, clear and able to access our full mental and physical potential.
We live in a modern world that never stops and our mind and body is experiencing stress at an alarming rate. 20mins of Vedic Meditation takes the body to a level of rest several times deeper than sleep. It leads our system into a state where purification and deep inner self healing can thrive, stress and anxiety are neutralised creating inner calm, increased energy and less friction in our day to day life.
HAPPINESS & EASE IN DAILY LIFE
By diving into the inner most level of our being each day with this practice, we bring out feelings of inner contentedness, happiness and ease into our daily life. Due to the break in mental activity our thoughts are more organised, we react to demands in a calm considered way, and we become more aware of the world around us.
Your mind has the ability to grow and expand. It’s our most valuable yet under utilised asset. Vedic Meditation awakens your consciousness, increases unique and creative ideas and develops intelligence.
Our relationships are often a reflection of our current state. When we are calm and happy, our relationships are typically healthy and we can give to others in a fulfilling way. Stress can block us from navigating our relationships harmoniously and by managing our own wellbeing we can in-turn share our happier state with others.
BRAIN DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCTIVITY
Recent studies have proven that by regularly interacting with a meditative state, our brain improves in all aspects of mental performance and perception. Areas of the brain work in harmony, like an orchestra with a conductor allowing us to become more focused, perceptive, intuitive, alert, creative, increase our memory and learning ability, emotional stability and reaction times.
HOW THE TECHNIQUE WORKS
If you think meditation is hard and challenging, and you’re looking for a simple practice to fit into your daily routine, then this technique is for you…
Vedic meditation is different to some of the better-known concentrative or contemplative methods available. We use a mantra or sound which is gently repeated in the mind. This sound acts as a vehicle directing the mind naturally from a busy active mind, to the quiet inner calm within and finally to a complete restful state. From this space, the nervous system can start to remove stress and blocks from the body and you will be united with your deep inner consciousness.
When you learn to meditate, you will be given a specific mantra and also the process of effortlessly using it to achieve desired results. This technique has been designed for anyone, at any age and for every background.
After you complete the 4 session course, you will be well on your way to being a master meditator and be able to enjoy your new daily practice.
